Digital screens emit blue light, which can have negative consequences on your peepers, including strain, dry or watery eyes and irritated eyes. Blue light is also known to sabotage your sleep schedule because it messes with your circadian rhythm (AKA your internal clock that tells you when it’s time to sleep or be awake).
Unfortunately, most of us can’t escape having to use computers, tablets and phones in our everyday life. So how do we handle the negative consequences of digital screens? (Besides suffer in silence as we continue to type and scroll away.)
But what are blue light glasses?
Blue light blocking glasses have specially crafted lenses that block or filter out the blue light given off from digital screens. The lenses protect your eyes from glare and can help reduce potential damage to your retina from prolonged exposure to blue light.

Exposure to blue-light is not as visible as it seems, due to the specific wave length, it becomes invisible in normal conditions. If we apply a special light filter to block out the rest, we can easily see the blue light radiation from electronic monitors.

Q. How to clean the lenses?
A. It is recommended to use a cotton cloth with normal eye wearing glasses cleaning solution.
Q. Does the image get distorted?
A. No, there is practically zero distortion due to very thin lenses.
Q. Will colors look different?
A. Cutting out an important quantity of harmful Blue-Light will cause some slight changes, the colors will look slightly warmer. It is a pleasing improvement rather than a difference.
